My two kids are performing their nightly ritual: dancing and singing to Steve Miller in front of the mirror. They are two fraternity brothers looking for a TG! Their dad brought home blueprints the other day that fascinated the boys( A. and Bean "enhanced" them and they are now posted on A's wall). Tonight he gave them a piece of large poster paper (in essence a giant post it note) and the boys mapped out their neighborhood and taped it to their mirrored closet. They now have to perform their impromptu concert on their beds so that they can see themselves.
The man I love is tormenting me with Monday Night football. This is the only time he has ever rooted for a team that included Brett Farve on the roster and loves rubbing it in. I am temporarily boycotting the number 4. It's a good thing I don't teach math on a regular basis anymore! Regardless of the little things that get us all down. the evening is beautiful. The sun is setting behind a beautiful fog bank and the ocean is an etherial blue. I am so blessed by God that the worst problem I have is figuring out how I can watch The Sarah Conor Chronicles, a two hour Heroes event, and The Big Bang Theory/How I Met Your Mother which are all on at the same time.
I got to meet with all of the staff today to do some goal setting. Out of the entire staff, there was only one person who had a bad attitude. That is a blessing. My sons love playing with each other and both came right home and did their homework. That is a blessing. No matter how I mess up, nothing can take away the grace God has given me by having his son, Jesus, die for my sins. That is a phenominal blessing! I am going to curl up with my dog and watch some TV. Wait a minute...the boys have "Jungle Love" on; TV can wait, I gotta dance!

Too wonderful to be able to read your blog and feel connected - and I get to have this feeling with all three of my kids now and their families. I'm the one who's blessed. I have the best (THE BEST) family in the whole wide world - and the best three daughters any mother could ask for. My grandkids will all be successful and famous, I just know it.
